BBQ area

The Barbecue area is located near the swimming pool, adjacent to Reception and is available from 8:00 am – 9:00 pm daily. Bookings are essential. In consideration of other guests, please clean the Barbeque plate after use.

Car Parking

Car parking is available and is located near Reception and throughout the property. Leisure Inn Hospitality Management accepts no responsibility for loss or damage to vehicles parked in this facility.

Check-Out Time

We ask you to vacate your room by 10:00 am on the day of departure. A later departure may be available; however a late check out fee may apply. Should you be leaving prior to 8:00 am on the day of your departure, please contact Reception the day prior to settle any accounts and arrange for key return.

Do Not Disturb

Please contact Reception if you require privacy and housekeepers will be advised not to service your room.

Laundry On Site

A coin operated laundry wash and dry service at $4 per service is available on site during Reception opening hours. The machine only accepts $2 coin.

DVD Hire

A selection of DVDs are available for hire from Reception for a cost of $2 each.

Games

The hotel offers a games room including a pool table and skill testers located in the building at the rear of the reception. The tennis court can be booked for one-hour time slots during the reception opening hours; the equipment is available for hourly hire from the Reception.

Housekeeping

PLEASE NOTE some of our room rates do not include a daily service. Non service rates are often selected at the time of booking for guests who wish a more competitive rate and not pay for a service they feel they do not require. If you do require a service, these can be booked with Reception before 10:00 am each day (fees apply). Alternatively extra amenities can be collected free of charge from Reception during opening hours.

Keys

Please remember to keep your room key with you at all times and ensure you lock all doors and windows when leaving your apartment for security purposes. Lost or unreturned keys will attract a fee of $100 per set.

Loss and Damage

All apartments are fully equipped with a standard inventory. Please report any breakages, missing items or damaged property on arrival. The cost of replacement or repair on any items broken or damaged is the responsibility of the guest. For lost property enquiries, dial “400” for Reception.

Smoking

For the benefit of all guests, we request that all smoking be limited to the patio area only.

Swimming Pool

The swimming pool and kid’s swimming pool is located adjacent to reception and is open from 8:00 am to 9:00 pm daily. Strictly no glass is to be taken into the pool area. All children must be supervised by an adult at all times.  A maximum of 10 guests allowed at any time, bookings are essential.

Air Conditioning

The air conditioners located in all units are reverse cycle air-conditioners and can be operated by using the remote control.

For heating, press the “mode” button until the sun image appears.
For cooling, press the “mode” button until the snow flake image appears.

PLEASE NOTE: The air conditioners can take up 15 minutes to reach the desired heating or cooling level before the actual unit begins pushing out fan forced air. Please set the temperature between 21 and 25 degree initially and adjust once the airflow commences. Setting it higher or lower may prevent the system from commencing operation.

In-Room Spa

The bathroom spa is operated by pressing the button located on the rim of the spa.
The spa MUST only be operated when the water level reaches a level above the spa jets.
The spa must not be operated when there is no water, this will cause the spa motor to burn out.
All guests will incur charges should there be damage to the spa resulting from improper use or bathroom flooding onto the carpet area.
Children should be supervised at all times.

The Hunter Valley is home to Australia’s oldest wine region and located two hours’ drive north of Sydney. Hunter Valley has some of Australia’s best wines, restaurants and most breathtaking world heritage wilderness. Encompasses charming towns and sprawling vineyards the Hunter Valley is a must visit for the discerning traveller.

Cellar Door Wine Tasting

The Hunter Valley is famous for its Semillon wines, however, a wide variety of wines including Shiraz, Chardonnay, Cabernet Sauvignon and Verdelho are considered a top drop in the region.

Cellar doors in the Hunter Valley are a candy store for adults, with over 150 wineries you’ll need an extra day (or three) to make the most of the vineyards. Each grape filled vineyard has its own unique charm and touch of elegance, you’ll find your Instagram will soon be filled an abundance snaps.

There are multiple tour companies in the Hunter Valley that can drive you to and from cellar doors that have been pre-mapped or you can choose your own; it’s the perfect way to spend a weekend with a group of friends. If you’re feeling more energetic you can always hire a bike and ride to each cellar door, an amazing way to spend an afternoon in the sun soak vineyards.

Cheese And A Sweet Hit

It is never enough to visit the wineries until you’ve visited some local cheese and chocolate shops to supplement your wine tasting experience. Enjoy the taste of local cheese makers by visiting Hunter Valley Cheese Factory located minutes’ walk from Leisure Inn Pokolbin which commenced production in 1995. We suggest trying the variety of dipping sauces whilst you’re here.

Smelly Cheese Shop, just across the road from the hotel, is also home to traditional Italian Gelato made with imported Italian ingredients using a 200 year old recipes. If you feel like staying indoor or having a picnic, just collect some hampers and platters of antipasto plates with cheese and complete your day with some delicious flavours. Sweeten up your day with one of the finest Belgian couverture chocolate with Australian dried fruits and nuts from the Hunter Valley Chocolate Company!
